Job Description

Job Title: Chef Trainer – Continental & Chinese CuisineLocation: Pan India Travel RequiredEmployment Type: Full TimeExperience Required: 3–6 years in professional kitchen + training experience preferredJob SummaryWe are looking for an experienced and skilled Chef Trainer who will be responsible for training kitchen staff across our outlets and franchise locations across India. The candidate must have strong knowledge of Continental and Chinese cuisine, standard kitchen operations, and the ability to train teams efficiently.

This role involves extensive travel to different cities for staff training, kitchen setup support, and maintaining food quality standards across locations.

Key ResponsibilitiesTraining & Development

  • Train chefs and kitchen staff at company-owned and franchise outlets.
  • Conduct practical training sessions on Continental and Chinese cuisine preparation.
  • Teach standard recipes, portion control, plating, and presentation.
  • Ensure trainees understand food safety, hygiene, and kitchen SOPs.
  • Evaluate staff performance and provide improvement feedback.

Kitchen Setup & Standardization

  • Assist in new outlet kitchen setup and workflow planning.
  • Ensure standardization of taste, quality, and preparation methods across locations.
  • Support implementation of company recipes and cooking processes.

Travel & Coordination

  • Travel across India for training assignments as per company schedule.
  • Coordinate with management and outlet teams before and after training visits.
  • Submit training reports and progress updates to management.
  • Skills & RequirementsStrong hands-on knowledge of Continental and Chinese cuisine.
  • Experience in kitchen operations and staff training.
  • Excellent communication and teaching ability.
  • Willingness to travel frequently across India.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Preferred QualificationsDiploma / Degree in Hotel Management or Culinary Arts.
  • Prior experience as trainer, head chef, or kitchen supervisor.
  • Experience working with multi-location brands or franchise systems.
