Job Description for CNC Programmer/Operator:

Job Title: CNC Programmer / Operator

Job Summary Responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce high-precision components as per drawings and quality standards.

• Key Responsibilities Create CNC programs using CAM software (Fanuc/Siemens/HAAS etc.).
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Set up CNC machines (lathe/milling/router) with correct tools, offsets, and fixtures.
• Operate machines to produce parts within tolerance.
• Inspect finished components using micrometers, vernier calipers, gauges.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and adjust programs as required.
• Maintain machine logs, production records, and tool usage reports.
• Ensure proper machine maintenance, cleanliness, and safety compliance.
• Work closely with production and quality teams for smooth workflow.
• Required Skills & Qualifications ITI/Diploma in Mechanical/Production or relevant field.
• 2–5 years experience in CNC programming and operation.
• Strong knowledge of G-code/M-code and CNC controls.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and GD&T.
• Good understanding of machining processes, speeds & feeds.
• Quality-focused and detail-oriented.
