Job Description
- Evaluate CV loan proposals within delegated authority, ensuring compliance with internal credit policies and risk parameters.
- Supervise and guide branch-level credit officers and underwriters to ensure consistent and high-quality credit decisions.
- Conduct field visits and customer discussions to assess borrower profiles, especially for high-ticket or non-standard cases.
- Monitor portfolio performance in the assigned area, identify early warning signals, and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate with sales, operations, and collections teams to ensure smooth disbursement and post-disbursement monitoring.
- Ensure timely processing of credit files and adherence to turnaround time (TAT) standards.
- Provide training and support to credit staff on policy updates, risk trends, and underwriting best practices.
- Participate in audits, compliance reviews, and ensure adherence to regulatory and internal guidelines.
- Share market intelligence and competitor insights to support product and policy refinement.
