Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive E-Commerce Executive to manage order processing, returns, and related customer communications across online marketplaces and brand-owned platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills, a customer-first mindset, and hands-on experience with e-commerce platforms, logistics coordination, and inventory management.


Key Responsibilities

  • Order Processing & FulfillmentAccurately capture and validate customer orders across multiple e-commerce platforms.
  • Ensure timely and error-free dispatch of orders including picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Monitor inventory levels, restock as needed, and coordinate with warehouse/operations teams.
  • Manage shipping arrangements, track deliveries, and liaise with logistics partners.
  • Provide real-time order tracking updates and proactively communicate with customers.
  • Maintain accurate data records on orders, inventory, and customer transactions.
  • Prepare periodic reports on order volume, fulfillment speed, and shipping cost analysis.


Returns & Claims Management

  • Authorize return requests in line with company policies.
  • Oversee the return logistics: receiving, inspecting, and processing refunds or exchanges.
  • Address customer concerns related to returns, refunds, or product replacements.
  • Update inventory records to reflect returned items and coordinate quality control checks.
  • Resolve disputes and escalate issues when necessary to protect brand integrity.
  • Track and analyze return trends, return rates, and cost implications.


Required Skills & Competencies

  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage high-volume transactions and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensuring precision in order processing, inventory tracking, and reporting.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication with customers and internal teams.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Proactive in resolving order, shipping, or return-related issues.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with e-commerce platforms (Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify, etc.), inventory management software, and CRM tools.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving e-commerce environment.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, E-commerce, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred).
  • 1–3 years of experience in e-commerce operations, order processing, or logistics.
  • Knowledge of marketplace policies (Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, Myntra, etc.) is a plus.
