We are Anand books International (P) Limited a leading academic Publishing house of India. We are focused on the needs of learners and teachers.

We are currently hiring English Language Editors (M/F) for the textbooks of CBSE and ICSE up to classes 1 to 10. The candidate must have:

·       Good command over the English language (written/verbal) and able to find out grammatical errors.

·       Must be familiar with the latest NCERT syllabus.

·       Good understanding to manage and edit the content of books.

·       4-6 years of prior work experience in writing and editing books.

·       Demonstrable, hands-on experience in developing and editing manuscripts in a trade publishing environment. 

·       Excellent command of the language with attention to detail, quality control, and an ability to engage with content on a detailed level.

·       Awareness of publishing processes, how they impact manuscript development, and time and cost implications of editorial decisions

·       Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

·       Capacity to complete the projects on given deadlines.

Qualification: BA/MA in English

Job Type: Full time

Salary: Rs. 40,000 plus
