Job Title: Body Fabricator (Sheet Metal)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Body Fabricator with hands-on experience in sheet metal fabrication. The candidate will be responsible for cutting, bending, assembling, and finishing metal components as per technical drawings and production requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabrication of sheet metal components such as cabinets, enclosures, machine bodies, and frames.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and fabrication layouts.
• Operating fabrication machines such as laser cutting, bending machine, shearing machine, drilling machine, and welding equipment (MIG/TIG).
• Measuring, marking, cutting, and shaping metal sheets accurately.
• Performing assembly work using welding, riveting, bolting, and fastening methods.
• Ensuring proper finishing and alignment of fabricated parts.
• Conducting quality checks to maintain dimensional accuracy.
• Maintaining tools and machinery in good working condition.
• Following safety standards and company guidelines at all times.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• ITI / Diploma in Fitter, Fabrication, or related technical field.
• Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Experience in MS, SS, and aluminum sheet work.
• Knowledge of welding techniques (MIG/TIG preferred).
• Good measurement and fabrication accuracy skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in manufacturing industry.
• Basic knowledge of grinding and finishing.
• Understanding of production targets and deadlines.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift heavy materials when required.
• Ability to stand for long hours in a manufacturing environment.

Salary:

As per industry standards (Based on experience and skill level) Rs. 20,000/- to 28,000/-
