Job Description: Sales Associates (Solar Rooftop)

Location: Noida, Agra, Gorkahpur, Mau, Ballia, Mathura, Delhi

Department: Sales & Marketing

1. Position Overview

The Sales Associate / Sales Executive – Solar Rooftop will support the company’s sales growth by engaging with residential, commercial, and small institutional customers for solar rooftop solutions.

This role focuses on field visits, customer interaction, basic sales coordination, and disciplined CRM usage, with guidance and support from senior team members.

This position is ideal for candidates looking to build a career in solar sales with structured processes, learning opportunities, and performance-based growth.

2. Key Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Engagement

  • Approach and engage potential customers during field visits, society visits, and local market activities.
  • Explain basic benefits of solar rooftop systems (on-grid, hybrid, off-grid) using company-approved material.
  • Share customer requirements with seniors and assist in closing orders.
  • Support follow-ups and customer coordination until order confirmation.

Field Activities & Travel

  • Conduct daily field visits, site meetings, and preliminary surveys as assigned.
  • Maintain discipline in field movement and customer interaction.
  • Record daily travel and visit details in the CRM system.
  • Petrol allowance of Rs.100/day will be processed based on verified CRM entries.

CRM & Reporting

  • Use the company CRM app for:
  • Lead updates
  • Call and visit logging
  • Follow-up tracking
  • Update CRM daily to ensure smooth coordination with the sales and operations team.
  • Share basic daily activity reports through CRM.

Coordination & Support

  • Coordinate with the telecalling, technical, and installation teams as required.
  • Assist in document collection and customer handover before installation.
  • Support senior sales staff in achieving monthly sales goals.

3. Performance Expectations (Indicative)

(Targets are progressive and will be guided by the reporting manager.)

5. Leave & Attendance

  • Leave to be planned and approved in advance through CRM or written communication.
  • Attendance, field activity, and travel entries should be updated regularly in CRM for payroll processing.

6. Confidentiality & Professional Conduct

  • All customer data, pricing, and company information must be handled responsibly.
  • Employees are expected to maintain professional ethics and data confidentiality during employment.

7. Desired Candidate Profile

  • 10+2 / Graduate / Diploma (any stream).
  • Freshers or candidates with 0–2 years of sales or field experience are welcome.
  • Comfortable with field work and customer interaction.
  • Basic smartphone and app usage skills.
  • Two wheeler Mandatory for this job.
  • Willingness to learn solar products and sales processes.
