Field Service Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Installation & Commissioning

•Install and commission commercial kitchen and laundry equipment (e.g., dishwashers, ovens, washers, dryers, ironers, finishing equipment, etc.) as per manufacturer standards.

•Perform site inspections and ensure readiness before installation.

•Verify correct electrical, plumbing, and ventilation connections before equipment startup.

2. Maintenance & Service

•Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance visits as per AMC schedule or service call.

•Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control system issues.

•Replace faulty parts and ensure equipment performance meets operational standards.

•Maintain service records, log sheets, and checklists for each visit.

3. Customer Support & Training

•Provide onsite operational training to client staff on proper equipment usage and care.

•Maintain good customer relations and ensure timely communication regarding service updates.

•Escalate unresolved technical issues to senior engineers or OEM support teams.

4. Documentation & Reporting

•Prepare detailed service reports, job cards, and feedback forms after every visit.

•Maintain records of spare parts usage and inventory updates.

•Report recurring issues or product feedback to the service manager for analysis.

5. Safety & Compliance

•Follow all safety protocols during installation and service activities.

•Ensure adherence to company policies and OEM technical standards.

•Maintain tools, calibration devices, and personal protective equipment in good condition.
