Fitter Technician

• Fabrication: Creating molds, vacuum forming plastics, laminating, cutting, sanding, and assembling parts like sockets, joints, and straps for artificial limbs and braces.
• Fitting & Adjustment: Assisting senior P&O professionals in fitting devices, making adjustments for patient comfort and fit, and ensuring proper alignment.
• Material Handling: Working with various materials like plastics, carbon fiber, leather, and metals.
• Maintenance & Repair: Performing routine maintenance, repairs, and replacements of components on existing devices.
• Patient Support: Assisting with patient counseling on device use and care, and maintaining patient records.
• Workshop Operations: Keeping tools and workstations clean, organized, and operational, often involving hand and power tools like jig saws, routers, and drills. 

Required Skills & Qualifications (ITI Level)

• Education: ITI certification in Fitter trade (Mechanical) or similar technical background.
• Technical Skills: Ability to read blueprints, use measurement tools, and operate fabrication machinery.
• Physical Skills: Good hand-eye coordination, dexterity, and ability to lift moderate weights (around 25kg).
• Soft Skills: Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team.
