Floor Manager

We are looking for a high-energy Floor Manager to lead our service team in our 30-seater cafe. You will be the face of our service—taking orders and hosting guests—while also managing a small team of two and overseeing the daily administration of the business.

You need to handle the back-end" (rosters, ordering, and organization).

Key Responsibilities

1. Front-of-House Leadership

• Lead the floor by example: greeting guests, taking orders, and ensuring seamless table turnover.
• Act as the primary point of contact for private party bookings and events, managing everything from the initial inquiry to "on-the-day" execution.
• Maintain a warm, welcoming atmosphere and resolve any customer feedback with grace and speed.

2. Team Management

• Supervise, train, and mentor a team of 2 service staff members.
• Ensuring optimal coverage for peak times and events within service department.
• Ensure the team follows all health, safety, and cleaning protocols.

3. Administration & Operations

• Inventory: Manage stock levels for front-of-house (milk, coffee, disposables) and place weekly orders.
• Reporting: Perform daily cash procedures and reconcile POS reports.
• Compliance: Maintain daily food safety logs, hygiene and checklists.
