GCP Data Engineer

Job Title: GCP Data Engineer (SAP Integration)

Experience Required: 7–10 Years

Location: Remote (Client location: Noida – occasional visit may be required)

Contract Duration: 6 Months

Compensation: ₹55,000 – ₹65,000 per month (Negotiable based on experience) Candidates may also share their rate card.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced GCP Data Engineer with strong expertise in SAP data integration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and cloud-based data solutions. You will play a key role in bridging SAP systems with Google Cloud Platform to enable advanced analytics and data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using GCP services

• Work extensively with BigQuery for data warehousing and analytics

• Develop and manage ETL/ELT pipelines using Dataflow or similar tools

• Integrate and extract data from SAP HANA and other SAP systems

• Perform data migration from on-premise systems to GCP

• Ensure data quality, governance, and security across all pipelines

• Optimize data processing workflows for performance and cost-efficiency

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and engineering teams

• Support reporting and analytics use cases by preparing clean, structured datasets

• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in production environments  

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

• Expertise in BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage

• Experience with SAP HANA / SAP data extraction

• Proficiency in ETL/ELT processes and tools

• Strong knowledge of SQL and data modeling

• Experience in data migration and system integration

• Understanding of data governance and security best practices

• Familiarity with Python / Java / Scala (preferred) 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in enterprise-level data environments

• Knowledge of microservices architecture (nice to have)

• Exposure to Docker or containerization tools

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills  

Work Requirements:

• Remote role, but Delhi/NCR-based candidates preferred

• Candidate should be available to visit Noida office: o 1 day at the time of joining o Once a month thereafter
