Gem Tender Executive

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled GeM Portal Operator to manage our online presence on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for listing our products, managing bids, and ensuring seamless operations on the GeM portal.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Listing: Accurately list our products on the GeM portal, ensuring compliance with GeM guidelines and product categorization.

2. Bid Management: Prepare and submit bids (L1) for government tenders and contracts on the GeM platform.

3. Bid Participation: Actively participate in the bidding process, ensuring timely submission of bids and compliance with tender requirements.

4. Portal Management: Manage our GeM portal account, including product catalog management, price updates, and inventory management.

5. Compliance: Ensure compliance with GeM rules, regulations, and guidelines, as well as government procurement policies.

6. Communication: Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including sales, procurement, and logistics teams, to ensure smooth operations on the GeM portal.

7. Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze performance metrics, including bid win rates, sales, and customer satisfaction, to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

1. Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in managing GeM portal operations, government tenders, or e-procurement platforms.

2. Knowledge: Strong understanding of GeM portal functionality, government procurement policies, and tendering processes.

3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in using the GeM portal, Microsoft Office, and other relevant software applications.

4. Communication: Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work with internal stakeholders and government agencies.

5. Analytical: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to monitor performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Certification: GeM portal certification or training would be an added advantage.

2. Government Experience: Experience working with government agencies or in government procurement would be beneficial.
