Import/Export Coordinator

Position: Shipping & Documentation Executive / Logistics Coordinator

Job Responsibilities:

Managing shipping line bookings

Coordinating shipment schedules with suppliers

Preparing and filing Shipping Instructions (SI)

Filing and managing VGM (Verified Gross Mass)

Handling Maersk portal operations including bookings, amendments, and documentation

Managing and resolving disputes with Maersk related to freight, billing, rollovers, delays, or documentation issues

Coordinating with Maersk team and other shipping lines

Tracking shipments and providing updates to stakeholders

Handling export documentation and shipment paperwork

Ensuring timelines and compliance with shipping procedures

Skills Required:

Hands-on experience with Maersk online portal (booking, SI submission, tracking, invoice handling, etc.)

Ability to handle and resolve shipping line disputes professionally

Experience in export/import logistics or freight forwarding

Knowledge of SI, VGM, BL process, and container booking

Strong communication and coordination skills

Basic computer proficiency and email handling skills

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines

Experience:

Preferred: 1–3 years in shipping/logistics/export documentation

Candidates with direct Maersk handling experience will be preferred
