Role Summary:

Suraksha Mitra is looking for a skilled and hands-on CCTV & IT Support Technician responsible for the installation, configuration, and ongoing support of surveillance systems and basic IT infrastructure. This is a field-oriented, execution-focused role that requires technical knowledge, practical skills, and the ability to work as part of a technical operations team.

The technician will ensure smooth functioning of CCTV systems, quick troubleshooting, and proper documentation of installations and service work.

Surakshamitra is hiring a hands-on CCTV & IT Support Technician responsible for installation, configuration, and day-to-day support of surveillance systems and basic IT infrastructure.

The role is execution-focused and works as part of a technical team.

Key Responsibilities:-

1. CCTV Installation & Support

• Install IP cameras, NVR/DVR, PoE switches

• Configure cameras:

• IP addressing

• Resolution, FPS, bitrate

• Mobile & CMS app access

• Perform cable laying, crimping, labeling, and testing

• Replace and troubleshoot faulty cameras, power supplies, and cables

2. Software & Network Support (Basic)

• Configure routers for:

• Port forwarding

• P2P camera access

• Use CCTV tools and software:

• ONVIF Device Manager

• Camera CMS platforms

• Assist in resolving:

• Offline cameras

• Recording issues

• Network connectivity problems

3. Power & Electrical Support

• Connect and test adapters, SMPS, and PoE power

• Install and maintain UPS for CCTV systems

• Replace batteries under defined procedures

• Follow basic AC/DC electrical safety practices

4. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain installation and service checklists

• Document IP details, camera locations, and system credentials

• Escalate unresolved issues to senior technical staff

Required Skills

• 1–3 years of experience in CCTV installation or IT hardware support

Basic understanding of:

• IP networking

• Routers and LAN setup

• Comfortable with field work and hand tools

• Ability to follow SOPs and technical instructions

Education

• ITI / Diploma / BCA / BSc IT (any)

• Practical experience preferred over formal qualifications.

Salary & Benefits

₹20,000 – ₹35,000 per month

• Travel allowance
