IT Engineer

• Key Responsibilities:

• Server Administration:
• Install, configure, and maintain Windows/Linux servers (physical and virtual).
• Monitor server performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
• Manage backups, disaster recovery, patch management, and system updates.
• Maintain Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and other core services.
• Networking:
• 
  
• Configure and troubleshoot LAN/WAN infrastructure, including routers, L3 switches, and firewalls.
• Monitor network performance, resolve issues, and ensure optimal uptime.
• Maintain network security protocols, including VPN, VLAN, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Collaborate with ISPs and vendors to maintain connectivity and service levels.
• Security & Compliance:
• 
  
• Implement and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Perform regular system audits and vulnerability assessments.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, ISO).
• Support & Documentation:
• 
  
• Provide Level 2/3 support for server and network-related incidents.
• Document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines.
• Train and support junior IT staff as needed.
