Lab Technician

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will hold a valid BMLT (Bachelor in Medical Laboratory Technology) or DMLT (Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology) certificate and have hands-on experience in blood collection techniques. The Phlebotomist will be responsible for drawing blood samples from patients for diagnostic purposes, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accurate specimen handling. Person should own bike with valid bike riding license.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect blood samples from patients using venipuncture or capillary puncture.
• Ensure correct labeling and documentation of specimens.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile blood collection area.
• Provide clear instructions and reassurance to patients during the procedure.
• Adhere to safety protocols to prevent contamination or errors.
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
• Assist with other laboratory duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• BMLT or DMLT certification required.
• Prior experience in phlebotomy preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of blood collection techniques and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and patient care skills.
