Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Design Engineer to join our R&D team. The candidate will be responsible for designing new products, improving existing designs, preparing technical drawings, and supporting prototype development for manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop new products as per market and business requirements.
• Prepare 2D & 3D drawings using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).
• Conduct product research, feasibility studies, and cost optimization.
• Develop prototypes and coordinate with production for trials.
• Modify existing designs to improve performance, quality, and manufacturability.
• Prepare BOM, technical specifications, and design documentation.
• Work closely with production, procurement, and quality teams.
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Support testing, validation, and product launch activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2–6 years of experience in design & R&D in manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, etc.).
• Understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and GD&T.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in sheet metal, fabrication, or industrial equipment design.
• Knowledge of prototyping and testing methods.
• Exposure to product lifecycle management (PLM) systems.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: As per industry standards (Rs. 25,000/- to 40,000/-) or as per Capability of Candidate.
