Hiring App Developer – AlivePost

AlivePost is looking for an experienced Android App Developer (2–3 years experience) to join our team.

Requirements:

• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in Android development
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Android SDK
• Strong knowledge of Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, Flow, and MVVM architecture
• Experience with Firebase integration
• Experience with REST API integration using Retrofit
• Experience with local data persistence using Room (or equivalent)
• Deep understanding of Android application lifecycle and background execution limits
• Experience with AlarmManager (setExactAndAllowWhileIdle)
• Experience with Foreground Services and BroadcastReceivers
• Knowledge of Doze Mode and Android battery optimization policies (API 23+)
• Experience handling exact alarm permission (Android 13+)
• Experience working with wake locks and Android power management APIs
• Strong understanding of Android permissions system
• Ability to design offline-first architecture
• Experience debugging background behavior using Logcat and Android Studio profiling tools
• Familiarity with handling device reboot events and rescheduling alarms
• Understanding of time zone handling and recurring event scheduling
• Knowledge of Clean Architecture principles
• At least one application published on the Google Play Store
