About The Role

We are hiring a hands-on Performance Marketing Specialist who can generate demand from scratch for products that have little or no brand awareness.

This role is not about maintaining existing branded campaigns. It is about building, testing, optimizing, and scaling paid campaigns in competitive and fraud-prone environments.

The person in this role must be technically strong, data-driven, and comfortable troubleshooting tracking, attribution, and traffic quality issues. 

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and launch non-branded (cold acquisition) campaigns from scratch

Build full-funnel strategies (awareness to conversion)Develop audience targeting without existing customer data

Test messaging, positioning, and value propositions

Scale campaigns from ₹2L to ₹20L+ monthly budgets

Design and optimize conversion funnels

Identify drop-offs using GA4 and heatmap tools

Improve landing pages, forms, and CTAs

Run structured A/B tests and measure statistical impact

Set up tracking using pixels, Google Tag Manager, and GA4Implement Conversions API and server-side tracking

Configure custom events and UTM tracking

Troubleshoot attribution gaps between ad platforms and CRM

Conduct daily campaign performance analysis

Track CPA, ROAS, LTV:CAC, and other core metrics

Identify underperforming segments and reallocate budgets

Build dashboards using Excel/Google Sheets

Monitor campaigns for click fraud and low-quality traffic

Analyze IP reports, suspicious traffic patterns, and anomalies

Use fraud detection tools and block IP ranges

Manage negative keywords and placement exclusions

Write and test ad copy across platforms

Develop creative hooks and funnel-stage messaging

Analyze creative performance and iterate based on data

Use AI tools responsibly to improve workflow efficiency

Demonstrate ability to perform core tasks independently without AI Required

Technical Skills

Hands-on experience with Google Ads (Search, Display, Performance Max, YouTube)Hands-on experience with Meta Ads Manager (Facebook & Instagram campaigns including Pixel and Conversions API setup)Strong working knowledge of Google Analytics 4 (setup, custom events, reporting)Experience with Google Tag Manager (trigger configuration and event tracking)Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (pivot tables, formulas, performance analysis)Experience using at least one fraud detection tool (Click Cease, PPC Protect, Traffic Guard, or equivalent)Experience with landing page tools (Unbounce, Instapage, or similar platforms Experience

using heatmap or session recording tools (Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, or similar)

 Nice to Have

Experience with LinkedIn Ads, Bing Ads, Reddit Ads, or Twitter/X Ads

Knowledge of data visualization tools (Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau)Familiarity with competitor research tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs)

Experience working with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho) 

Required Experience

Must Have:1-2 years managing non-branded/cold acquisition campaigns (not just branded search)Managed ₹5-20 lakhs monthly ad spend across multiple platforms

Built campaigns from scratch for products with low/zero brand awareness

Hands-on tracking setup experience (GTM, pixels, not just monitoring pre-built campaigns)Encountered and resolved fraud/traffic quality issues (provide case study)Demonstrated optimization results (CPA reductions, ROAS improvements with proof) Should Have:

Experience with long sales cycles (30-90 days) and multi-touch attribution

Portfolio showing 3+ campaigns you built, optimized, and scaled

Comfort with ambiguity and testing in uncertain environments

Self-directed work style (we give goals, you figure out how)
