Job Description
A Construction Project Coordinator manages the administrative, logistical, and communicative aspects of building projects to ensure they stay on schedule and within budget. They act as the central hub between project managers, contractors, and stakeholders, handling documentation, material procurement, scheduling, and site reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Document Control: Prepare, distribute, and manage contracts, permits, change orders, and submittals.
- Scheduling & Planning: Assist in creating, monitoring, and updating project timelines, including look-ahead schedules.
- Communication Hub: Serve as the main point of contact between site staff, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Financial Support: Process purchase orders, invoices, and expense reports; track expenditures against budgets.
- Material Management: Track material orders, verify specifications, and ensure timely delivery to the site.
- Site Reporting: Attend coordination meetings, produce meeting minutes, and document daily site activities.
