Job Description
Key Responsibilities-
- Identify and select suppliers/vendors
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules
- Prepare and issue purchase orders
- Ensure timely procurement of materials/services
- Monitor stock levels and avoid shortages or excess inventory
- Coordinate with stores, production, and finance departments
- Ensure quality standards and specifications are met
- Track deliveries and follow up on pending orders
- Verify invoices and support payment processing
- Maintain purchase records, reports, and documentation
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures
- Work on cost reduction and vendor performance improvement
