**Position Overview:**

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced QC Manager or Lab Technician to join our manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality control within the safety footwear industry, with specific expertise in BIS standards and testing procedures. This role is crucial in ensuring that all safety shoes and gumboots meet the stringent quality requirements and safety standards set by BIS.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Oversee and manage the quality control processes for safety shoes and gumboots.

- Conduct thorough testing and inspections of raw materials and finished products according to BIS standards.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant BIS safety and quality standards and regulations.

- Develop, implement, and maintain QC procedures and documentation.

- Coordinate with production teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.

- Maintain accurate records of tests, inspections, and quality issues.

- Prepare and present detailed reports on quality metrics, testing outcomes, and improvement initiatives.

- Stay updated on industry standards and regulatory changes related to safety footwear.

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related field. (Candidates from non-medical profiles are encouraged to apply.)

- Proven experience in quality control or lab testing within the manufacturing sector, particularly in safety footwear.

- In-depth knowledge of BIS standards and testing procedures for safety shoes and gumboots.

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and organizational skills.

- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

**Desirable Skills:**

- Familiarity with various testing equipment and methodologies used in safety footwear.

- Experience in implementing quality improvement initiatives and best practices.

- Certification or training related to quality control or safety footwear standards is a plus.
