Job Description
- Greet and assist customers in a and professional manner
- Answer customer queries and provide accurate product information
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Maintain proper inventory levels and restock shelves as needed
- Arrange merchandise displays to attract customers
- Recommend and upsell products to customers to maximize sales
- Ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-presented
- Promote sales and special offers to increase customer engagement
- Work towards achieving sales targets and KPIs
- Collaborate with the team to achieve overall store goals
- Issue GST-compliant bills; follow cash handling & reconciliation SOPs.
- Maintain KOT accuracy; manage delivery partner orders (Swiggy/Zomato) as applicable.
- 4) Inventory & MerchandisingReceive stock as per GRN; conduct daily cycle counts and report shortages/damages.
- Follow FIFO/FEFO for perishables; minimize wastage.
- Refill displays, label products with MRP/expiry, maintain planograms/VM standards.
- 5) Hygiene, Safety & ComplianceMaintain café cleanliness (FOH, BOH, wash areas, dining).
- Adhere to FSSAI, food safety, and HACCP/FSMS practices (temperature logs, sanitization schedules, pest control reporting).
- Use PPE; follow chemical handling and waste segregation SOPs.
- Support audits (internal/external) and corrective actions.
- 6) Operations & SOP ComplianceExecute opening/closing checklists; ensure readiness for service.
- Report equipment issues; coordinate for maintenance.
- Support peak-hour readiness, catering/bulk orders, and local store marketing activities.
- 7) Teamwork & TrainingParticipate in briefings; share daily updates and learnings.
- Assist in training new joiners on SOPs, menu knowledge, and customer service standards.
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Customer Experience: CSAT/NPS, complaint resolution time, repeat customers.
- Operational Excellence: Order accuracy, ticket time/throughput, SOP audit scores.
- Sales Metrics: Average bill value (ABV), add-on conversion, product mix targets.
- Quality & Safety: Hygiene scores, zero critical non-conformities, wastage %.
- Shrinkage & Cash: Cash variance within tolerance, stock variance control.
- Qualifications12th Pass; Graduation preferred.
- 0–2 years of experience in café/QSR/retail; freshers with the right attitude welcome.
- FSSAI Food Handler certification (preferred/within 30 days of joining).
- Basic English/Hindi; local language is a plus.
- Skills & AttributesStrong customer service, friendly and professional communication.
- Basic POS and smartphone app handling (delivery aggregators).
- Speed, accuracy, and attention to detail under pressure.
- Hygiene discipline; safety-first mindset.
- Team player, punctual, and reliable.
- Physical RequirementsAbility to stand for long periods (6–8 hours), lift up to 10–15 kg occasionally, and work in hot/cold environments (kitchen, storage, café floor).

- Espresso machines, grinders, ovens, refrigerators, blenders.
