Rooftop Solar Installation Engineer

📌 Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Installation Supervisor to oversee rooftop solar project execution from start to finish. The role involves managing site teams, ensuring safety, maintaining quality standards, and delivering projects on time.

🛠 Key Responsibilities

Supervise on-site installation of solar modules, mounting structures, wiring & inverter setup

Manage technician teams and allocate daily tasks

Ensure installation quality as per engineering drawings, SLDs, and safety standards

Conduct site readiness checks and coordinate material delivery

Work with the design team to resolve technical issues during execution

Handle grid integration, net-metering documentation support, and system testing

Maintain daily reports, site photos, work progress updates, and checklists

Ensure compliance with MNRE, DISCOM, and company installation protocols

🎯 Requirements

Diploma / ITI / Graduate in Electrical, Mechanical, or related field

2–5 years of solar rooftop installation experience

Strong understanding of AC/DC wiring, earthing, protection systems, and inverter connections

Ability to read layouts, SLDs, and installation drawings

Excellent team management and on-site problem-solving skills

Willingness to travel and work on rooftops
