Job Description

The Sales Manager – CPaaS will be responsible for driving revenue growth for A2P SMS solutions, acquiring enterprise clients and channel partners, and managing the complete sales cycle for SMS, OTP, Notifications, and related CPaaS services across domestic and international markets.


  • Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Revenue GrowthDrive new customer acquisition for A2P SMS and CPaaS services
  • Own end-to-end sales cycle: lead generation, qualification, solutioning, pricing, and closure
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets for SMS traffic
  • Develop enterprise, fintech, e-commerce, BFSI, and OTT client portfolios
  • CPaaS & SMS SolutioningSell A2P SMS use cases including:
  • OTP / Authentication
  • Transactional alerts
  • Promotional messaging (where compliant)


  • Work with technical teams on:
  • API integrations
  • SMPP / HTTP connectivity
  • Sender ID registration and compliance requirements
  • Partner & Route Management (Commercial)Build and manage relationships with aggregators, carriers, and CPaaS partners
  • Negotiate pricing, margins, and volume commitments
  • Understand route quality parameters: delivery rates, latency, DLRs, fallback routes
  • Compliance & Market Knowledge Understand country-specific SMS regulations (DLT, TRAI, GDPR, local telecom rules)
  • Guide clients on:


  • Sender ID registration
  • Template approvals
  • Content compliance
  • Ensure all traffic meets regulatory and operator requirements
  • Account Management Manage key enterprise and wholesale accounts
  • Monitor traffic performance, billing accuracy, and customer satisfaction
  • Upsell and cross-sell additional CPaaS services (Voice, WhatsApp, RCS)
  • Key Skills & Competencies Technical & Industry Skills Strong knowledge of:


  • A2P SMS ecosystem
  • CPaaS platforms
  • API-based messaging solutions
  • Understanding of:
  • SMPP / HTTP APIs
  • DLRs, TPS, throughput, latency
  • Grey vs white routes (high-level awareness)
  • Sales SkillsB2B & enterprise sales experience
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Ability to sell value, quality, and compliance (not just price)
  • Experience managing long sales cycles
  • Soft Skills Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Analytical mindset (traffic, margins, routing performance)
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with tech and operations teams
  • Self-driven and target-oriented
  • Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in CPaaS / SMS / telecom sales
  • Proven track record in A2P SMS revenue growth
  • Experience selling to enterprises, ISVs, fintech, or aggregators
