Job Summary:


We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Travel Sales General Manager to lead our travel sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to drive revenue growth, expanding our customer base, and ensuring exceptional customer service.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Sales Strategy and Planning:

  - Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.

  - Conduct market research and analyze competitor activity to identify opportunities.

  - Set sales targets and objectives for the team.

2. Team Leadership and Management:

  - Lead, motivate, and manage a team of travel sales professionals.

  - Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities to enhance team performance.

  - Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback.

3. Customer Relationship Management:

  - Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.

  - Identify and pursue new business opportunities.

  - Ensure exceptional customer service and resolve customer complaints.

4. Revenue Growth and Profitability:

  - Achieve revenue targets and contribute to the company's profitability.

  - Monitor and control sales expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness.

5. Industry Knowledge and Networking:

  - Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments.

  - Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network and promote the company.


Requirements:


1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

2. Experience: Minimum 8-10 years of experience in travel sales, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.

3. Skills:

  - Proven sales and leadership skills.

  - Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  - Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

4. Travel Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the travel industry, including trends, competitors, and market developments.
