Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and result-driven Sales & Marketing Manager with strong technical expertise in the Electrical and Power industries. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of EPC projects, techno-commercial processes, and competitive market trends. This role requires extensive travel across India to generate business opportunities, manage client relationships, and drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute sales & marketing strategies for Electrical and Power sector projects.
Identify, generate, and convert new business inquiries across PAN India.
Prepare techno-commercial proposals aligned with client requirements and project specifications.
Lead negotiations with clients to secure profitable orders.
Build and maintain strong relationships with EPC contractors, consultants, utilities, industries, and end-users.
Monitor competitors’ activities, pricing strategies, and market movements.
Participate in pre-bid meetings, tender discussions, and technical clarifications.
Coordinate with internal engineering and project teams for seamless project execution.
Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.
Maintain accurate sales forecasts, reports, and CRM updates.
Required Skills & Competencies:
Strong technical knowledge of Electrical systems, Power distribution, and EPC projects.
Solid understanding of techno-commercial documentation and tendering processes.
Experience in proposal preparation, cost estimation, and contract negotiation.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Fluent in English (spoken and written).
Ability to analyze market trends and competitor strategies.
Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working independently.
Willingness to travel extensively across India.
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (B.E./B.Tech – Electrical preferred)
MBA in Marketing (preferred but not mandatory)
Preferred Candidate Profile:
Minimum 3+ years of experience in Sales & Marketing within Electrical / Power / EPC industry.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
Experience handling industrial, utility, infrastructure, or EPC clients.
Strong techno-commercial acumen with negotiation expertise.
