Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Engineer – Job Description

Position Title: SEO Engineer

Salary: ₹25,000/month + Performance Bonus

Location: Indirapuram

Job Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, implement, and manage SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and drive traffic.
• Perform keyword research to guide content teams.
• Analyze and optimize website architecture, content, linking, and other factors to improve SEO positions.
• Conduct technical SEO audits and resolve crawl issues, redirects, and indexing errors.
• Monitor performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, and Ahrefs.
• Collaborate with developers and content teams to implement SEO best practices.
• Track, report, and analyze website analytics and SEO initiatives.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and algorithm changes from search engines.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an SEO Engineer or similar role.
• Deep understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
• Proficiency in tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, etc.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and website administration.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field.
• Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, etc.).
• Understanding of Core Web Vitals and technical SEO trends.
