🎯 Job Summary:

We are seeking a customer-focused and technically knowledgeable Service Advisor to act as the liaison between customers and the service workshop. The ideal candidate will ensure a smooth service experience, accurate job card preparation, timely delivery of vehicles, and high customer satisfaction.



🔧 Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Handling

  • Greet customers professionally and understand their vehicle concerns.
  • Conduct preliminary vehicle inspection and document issues.
  • Explain recommended repairs and service packages clearly.
  • Provide cost estimates and obtain customer approval.

2. Job Card & Documentation

  • Prepare accurate job cards with detailed customer complaints.
  • Coordinate with technicians for diagnosis and repair updates.
  • Maintain service history and customer records in DMS (Dealer Management System).

3. Workshop Coordination

  • Schedule service appointments and manage workflow.
  • Monitor repair progress and ensure timely completion.
  • Ensure availability of spare parts in coordination with parts department.

4. Billing & Delivery

  • Verify completed work and prepare final invoices.
  • Explain repairs carried out and charges to customers.
  • Ensure vehicle cleanliness before delivery.
  • Collect payments and close job cards.

5. Customer Satisfaction

  • Handle customer complaints effectively.
  • Follow up after service for feedback.
  • Achieve CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) targets.



🛠 Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of automobile systems (engine, transmission, suspension, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to upsell service packages and accessories
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office, DMS software)
  • Problem-solving and conflict management skills
  • Time management and multitasking ability



🎓 Qualifications:

  • Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Automobile Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
  • 1–5 years of experience in automobile dealership/service center
  • Valid driving license



💰 Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Customer Satisfaction Score (CSI)
  • Revenue per Repair Order (RPRO)
  • Labor and parts sales target
  • Repeat customer rate
  • Vehicle turnaround time (TAT)



📌 Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in dealership environment (2W / 4W / Commercial vehicles)
  • Familiarity with OEM standards and warranty procedures
