About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Engineer to join our team, specializing in the maintenance, repair, and support of advanced agriculture research instruments, including gas exchange systems, chlorophyll fluorescence instruments and other electronic instruments. The ideal candidate should possess a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a passion for supporting cutting-edge agricultural research. This role involves both in-house and on-site service activities, providing high-quality technical assistance to our clients. He has to work on improving the performance of the machine Troubleshooting of hardware and software problem. Consolidate the requirements from Customers and have to repair and service all the machinery and equipment supplied by the company. Presentable to the customers in technical discussions.

Educational Qualification: ITI or Diploma (Preferable) in Electronics & Instrumentation

Work Experience: 2 or more no. of years in Similar Role, apply only if you have given educational qualification & relevant work experience.

Monthly Salary (Package): ₹ 18,000 - ₹ 30,000 per month (Fixed only), Also depends on Last drawn salary, Past Experience, Interview.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintenance and Repair:

·        Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of agriculture research instruments, with a focus on gas exchange systems.

·        Diagnose technical issues and implement effective solutions to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance of equipment.

Installation and Calibration:

·        Install, configure, and calibrate new equipment at client sites.

·        Ensure accurate and precise calibration of instruments to meet research specifications and standards.

Customer Support:

·        Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and on-site visits.

·        Assist clients in understanding and operating their equipment, offering training sessions as needed.

Documentation and Reporting:

·        Maintain detailed service records, including maintenance logs, repair reports, and calibration data.

·        Document customer interactions and technical solutions for future reference.

Product Knowledge and Training:

·        Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in agriculture research instruments and technologies.

·        Participate in ongoing training to enhance product knowledge and technical skills.

Quality Assurance:

·        Ensure all service activities comply with company quality standards and safety protocols.

·        Conduct quality checks on repaired and maintained equipment to guarantee performance and reliability.

Collaboration:

·        Work closely with the sales and technical teams to address customer needs and improve service offerings.

·        Collaborate with product development teams to provide feedback on instrument performance and customer requirements.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electronic and mechanical systems.

Travel: Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
