Job Description
Position: Team Leader – Government Survey Project
Department: Operations / Survey & ResearchLanguage
Requirement: Bengali/Hindi (Mandatory)
Employment Type: Project-Based
Reporting To: HR Head
- Key Roles & Responsibilities
1. Team Supervision & Management Lead and manage a team of Bengali language survey executives.
- Allocate daily calling targets and monitor team productivity.
- Conduct daily briefings and performance reviews.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and on-floor support to team members.
- Ensure attendance, discipline, and adherence to shift schedules.
2. Survey Operations OversightOversee outbound calling activities conducted by the team.
- Ensure survey calls are conducted strictly as per the approved script.
- Monitor live calls for quality, neutrality, and professionalism.
- Ensure accurate and complete data entry into survey forms.
3. Data Accuracy & Quality Control: Perform regular audits of filled survey forms.
- Ensure zero manipulation or biased data entry.
- Identify discrepancies and implement corrective measures.
- Maintain high data integrity standards throughout the project.
4. Compliance & Political NeutralityEnsure the team maintains complete political neutrality.
- Prevent any form of influence, persuasion, or personal opinion sharing.
- Ensure adherence to confidentiality and data privacy policies.
- Escalate any compliance-related concerns to management immediately.
5. Reporting & MIS ManagementPrepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
- Track:
- Number of calls made
- Survey completion rate
- Error rate
- Productivity per executive
- Share progress updates with the Project Manager.
- Maintain proper documentation and call records.
6. Training & Process ImprovementTrain new joiners on calling scripts and survey procedures.
- Conduct refresher sessions to improve quality and performance.
- Identify performance gaps and suggest process improvements.
- Coordinate with QA teams for feedback implementation.
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Achievement of daily and monthly survey targets
- Team productivity levels
- Data accuracy and form completion quality
- Error rate reduction
- Adherence to neutrality and compliance standards
- Team retention and discipline
- Timely and accurate reporting
- Required Qualifications & SkillsMandatoryFluency in Bengali (spoken and comprehension)
- Experience in tele-calling / call center/survey projects
- Team handling experience (minimum 1–2 years preferred)
- Basic computer proficiency (data entry, Excel, CRM tools)
- PreferredExperience in government survey or research projects
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of the Indian political structure (neutral awareness only)
- Behavioral CompetenciesStrong leadership & people management skills
- Attention to detail
- Ethical and unbiased approach
- Ability to work under pressure and meet targets
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
