Technical Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Technical Engineer with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in IT hardware support. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in troubleshooting and maintaining laptops, desktops, servers, Interactive Flat Panels (IFPs), and ONT devices, along with the ability to provide on-site and remote technical support.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain IT hardware including laptops, desktops, PCs, servers, IFPs, and ONT devices
• Diagnose hardware and basic software issues and provide timely resolutions
• Handle on-site and remote technical support for end users
• Perform preventive maintenance and ensure optimal system performance
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for hardware repairs and replacements
• Manage hardware inventory, asset tagging, and documentation
• Install and support operating systems, drivers, and required applications
• Ensure proper network connectivity related to ONT and peripheral devices
• Maintain service reports, issue logs, and resolution documentation
• Adhere to company IT policies, security standards, and SLAs

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Electronics, or related field
• 3–5 years of experience in IT hardware support
• Strong knowledge of:
• Laptops, Desktops, PCs, and Servers
• Interactive Flat Panels (IFPs)
• ONT devices and basic networking concepts
• Hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting and repairs
• Familiarity with Windows OS, drivers, and basic network configurations
• Good communication and customer-handling skills
• Willingness to travel within Delhi for on-site support

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Experience in corporate or enterprise IT environments
• Knowledge of LAN/WAN, routers, switches, and printers
• IT certifications (Hardware, Networking, or equivalent)
