Tele Caller - Debt Recovery Job Responsibilities
Debt recovery tele callers handle outbound collections for overdue accounts across loan products (personal loans, credit cards, etc.). Here's a comprehensive job responsibility framework.
- Core Daily ResponsibilitiesOutbound Calling
- Make 80-100 calls daily to assigned portfolios
- Target fresh overdues regular chronic accounts
- Follow call scripts while adapting to customer responses
- Payment Collection
- Secure Promise to Pay (PTP) commitments
- Negotiate payment plans/settlement offers within authority limits
- Verify and record payments via net banking/UPI references
- Account Management
- Update customer contact details and preferences
- Log detailed call remarks (objection handled, next call date, etc.)
- Categorize accounts for field collection/legal handover
