Telecalling Team Leader

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Telecalling Team Leader who can build, manage, and motivate a tele-sales team for insurance products. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in insurance sales through telecalling and a proven track record of leading a team to achieve targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recruit, train, and build a high-performing telecalling team for insurance sales.
• Set daily, weekly, and monthly targets for the team and ensure achievement.
• Monitor team performance, call quality, and productivity.
• Provide coaching, motivation, and ongoing training to improve conversion ratios.
• Handle escalations and support team members in closing complex cases.
• Track leads, follow-ups, and conversions using CRM or reporting systems.
• Coordinate with sales/operations teams for smooth policy issuance.
• Prepare performance reports and share insights with management.
• Ensure compliance with IRDA and company sales guidelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in the insurance industry.
• At least 1–2 years of experience handling a tele calling/tele-sales team.
• Strong knowledge of life, health, or general insurance products.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• Target-driven with strong closing and objection-handling abilities.
• Experience in lead management and CRM systems preferred.

• Proven track record of achieving team sales targets.
• Experience in building a team from scratch will be an added advantage.
