Thumbnail Designer

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Thumbnail Designer to join our growing crime and documentary YouTube channel team. Thumbnails are the first impression our viewers get, and we need someone who can craft striking, scroll-stopping designs that boost clicks while staying true to the mood and tone of our stories.

Responsibilities

·      Design engaging, high-CTR YouTube thumbnails for crime, investigation, and documentary videos.

·      Translate storylines into strong visual concepts.

·      Use typography, imagery, and color effectively to create tension and curiosity.

·      Adapt and refine thumbnail styles to maintain brand consistency across videos.

·      Test and iterate on designs based on audience performance and feedback.

·      Deliver multiple versions when needed under tight deadlines.

Requirements

·      Proven experience in thumbnail design for YouTube (portfolio required).

·      Strong graphic design skills with proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar tools.

·      Deep understanding of what drives clicks: contrast, emotions, expressions, and storytelling through imagery.

·      Ability to work quickly and meet daily/weekly upload deadlines.

·      Interest in crime, mystery, or documentary content is a strong plus.
