Job Description
TradingView Pine Script Developer Needed – Custom Indicator
Hi,
I’m looking for an experienced TradingView Pine Script developer to build a clean, professional, and stable custom indicator based on my trading system (Astra).
This is not a basic indicator. I need someone who understands price action, indicators, stage analysis, grading systems, and clean chart behavior.
- Core Requirements1. Indicator Behavior (Very Important)All elements must be price-attached and move properly with candles
- No floating / glitching / upside-down movement when chart is dragged or zoomed
- Clean, minimal design
- Similar clean behavior to professional indicator
- No repainting logic
2. Logic ComponentsThe indicator will include:
- ✅ RSICustom level settings (example: RSI > 55)
- Used for trend bias / confirmation
- ✅ ADXTrend strength confirmation
- Custom threshold setting (example: ADX > 20 / 25)
- ✅ Stage AnalysisIndicator should clearly identify and show what stage the stock/script is currently in
- Example: Stage 1 / Stage 2 / Stage 3 / Stage 4 logic
- Should be clearly visible but still clean and non-cluttered
- ✅ Price Action / StructureBasic structure-based logic
- Higher high / breakout / consolidation / crossover-crossunder based confirmations if needed
- No repainting
- ✅ Grading / Signal SystemClear Buy / Sell signals
- Signals should appear on candles, not as floating UI
- There will be a grading / naming system for certain crossovers and crossunders
- I need custom names / labels assigned to these events and signals
- These should be coded properly and cleanly into the script
- 3. Modes (Important)Clean Mode → minimal chart view
- Optional Advanced Mode → more details if needed
- 4. AlertsBuy signal alert
- Sell signal alert
- Alerts should be usable for live trading
- 5. BacktestingA lot of backtesting will be required
- Logic should be tested properly across different market conditions and timeframes
- Developer should be comfortable refining the script based on backtesting observations
- 6. Code QualityPine Script latest version
- Clean, optimized, well-structured code
- No lag / no unnecessary calculations
- Should work smoothly across different timeframes
- What I Do Not WantNo tables or floating UI elements
- No repainting signals
- No overcomplicated visuals
- No generic copy-paste indicators
- No sloppy or messy coding structure
- DeliverablesFinal working Pine Script code
- Minor revisions after testing
- Optional: short explanation of logic implementation
- Ideal CandidateHas built TradingView indicators before
- Understands trading logic, not just coding
- Can replicate clean, professional indicator behavior
- Comfortable with backtesting and refining logic
- To Apply, Please SharePrevious Pine Script work (screenshots or links)
- Brief explanation of similar work done
- Estimated timeline
Important NoteI’m specifically looking for someone who understands both trading and coding, not just a coder.
Also, final payment will be made only after the work is completed properly and the final working version is delivered to me as agreed.
