About the Role

We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor who understands how to make content engaging, fast-paced, and platform-ready. You’ll be responsible for editing both short-form and long-form content for social media, podcasts, and creator-led brands—ensuring high retention, clean visuals, and compelling storytelling.

Roles And Responsibilities

Short-Form Content Editing

Edit high-performing Reels, Shorts, and vertical videos

Use pacing, jump cuts, captions, and visual hooks to maximize engagement

Create scroll-stopping edits optimized for social media

Long-Form Video Editing

Edit podcasts and long-format videos with strong narrative flow

Ensure seamless transitions, clear audio, and professional-quality output

Creative Enhancements

Add music, sound effects, motion graphics, and captions

Perform color correction and audio balancing

Maintain consistent visual and brand quality

Platform-First Editing

Edit content optimized for Instagram, YouTube, and Shorts

Focus on improving watch time, retention, and audience engagement

Collaboration & Execution

Work closely with content strategists and creative teams

Take feedback, iterate quickly, and meet tight deadlines

What We’re Looking For

1–4 years of experience in video editing (social media / podcasts / creators / media)

Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or similar tools

Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and editing rhythm

Ability to create engaging edits using cuts, captions, music, and transitions

Understanding of social media formats and audience behavior

High attention to detail (audio, color, transitions, overall polish)

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-output environment

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with podcasts, creator-led content, or YouTube channels

Background in media companies, agencies, or freelance projects

Exposure to performance-driven content (retention, engagement-focused editing)

Strong eye for detail in cuts, pacing, captions, and sound design

Interest in storytelling, content trends, and audience psychology
