Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate and highly skilled Cinematographer who lives and breathes storytelling through the lens. You will be responsible for visual storytelling, lighting, framing, and camera operations that bring creative concepts to life. You’ll collaborate closely with our creative directors and production team to plan, shoot, and deliver stunning visuals that align with the vision and tone of each project.

This role demands both technical mastery and creative intuition — someone who not only knows the craft but also takes initiative, conceptualizes ideas, and executes them with excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, shoot, and direct video content across various genres — from brand films and documentaries to creative campaigns and social visuals.
• Operate professional DSLR and cinema cameras (proficiency with Sony systems such as FX6 or similar is a huge plus).
• Execute flawless gimbal operations — a must-have skill for dynamic and cinematic movement.
• Design and control lighting setups to achieve desired moods and aesthetics.
• Collaborate closely with the creative and production teams to develop visual concepts and storyboards.
• Capture both planned and spontaneous shots while maintaining visual consistency.
• Manage on-set direction, camera movement, and visual composition.
• Perform basic editing and post-production (Premiere Pro and After Effects) — including color correction, speed ramps, tracking, and transitions.
• Ensure all footage aligns with the project’s narrative and emotional arc.
• Maintain equipment, manage gear logistics, and be open to travel and flexible hours based on shoot schedules.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in DSLR camera systems (Sony camera knowledge is a strong advantage).
• Familiarity with cinema line cameras like Sony FX6, FX3, or similar professional gear.
• Exceptional lighting skills — able to design setups for different moods, tones, and scenes.
• Expert in gimbal operation (this is an absolute must).
• Solid understanding of framing, direction, and visual composition.
• Storytelling mindset — ability to convey emotion, depth, and meaning visually.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (speed ramps, tracking, transitions, and other basic edits).
• Strong sense of initiative — not just executing, but conceptualising and driving ideas forward.
• Physically capable and willing to work long or flexible hours when shoots demand.
• Must use professional cameras only — not smartphones.
