Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Daily Operations


Supervise day-to-day canteen activities


Ensure smooth food preparation and service


Monitor opening and closing procedures


2. Staff Management


Assign duties to canteen staff


Train new employees on procedures and hygiene standards


Manage staff schedules and attendance


3. Food Quality & Hygiene


Ensure food safety and cleanliness standards are followed


Maintain kitchen and dining area hygiene


Comply with local health and safety regulations


4. Inventory & Supplies


Monitor stock levels of food and supplies


Order ingredients and materials as needed


Reduce wastage and control costs


5. Customer Service


Address customer complaints and feedback

Ensure timely and courteous service

Maintain a welcoming environment

6. Record Keeping

Maintain sales and expense records

Track inventory usage

Prepare reports for management

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience in food service or hospitality

Basic knowledge of food safety standards

Leadership and team management skills

Good communication and problem-solving abilities

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

Diploma or certification in hospitality/food service

Experience in supervising a team

Knowledge of inventory management systems

Working Conditions

May require early mornings, evenings, or weekend shift
