Civil Site Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to oversee and manage our construction and site development activities at our newly launched site at Dera Bassi. The ideal candidate must have strong technical expertise in plotting work, villa construction, township development, and a solid understanding of local market practices, labour handling, and vendor coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

Site Management & Execution

• Sup ervise day-to-day construction activities across sites, ensuring quality and timely completion.
• Oversee plotting, roadwork, drainage, utilities, and villa construction in accordance with approved drawings.
• Conduct site inspections, monitor progress, and ensure work aligns with BOQs and engineering standards.

Planning & Coordination

• Prepare and review project timelines, material requirements, and execution plans.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, vendors, and labour teams for smooth construction flow.
• Ensure proper allocation and management of labour at site.

Quality Control & Compliance

• Maintain strict quality control for all construction materials and workmanship.
• Ensure compliance with site safety regulations, building codes, and local authority guidelines.
• Verify levels, measurements, and site markings before execution.

Vendor & Local Market Knowledge

• Must have strong knowledge of local labour, material vendors, and market rates.
• Negotiate with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely availability of materials.

Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain daily site reports, progress updates, and quality checklists.
• Verify bills, measurements, and contractor invoices before approval.
• Prepare weekly/monthly project status reports for management.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• 5–10 years of experience in residential construction, township development, or plotting projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, levels, RCC work, and finishing work.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple sites simultaneously.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management tools (preferred).

Additional Requirements:

• Candidate must have local market knowledge related to labour, building materials, and vendors.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to deliver under deadlines.
