Job description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Purchase Manager to oversee the procurement of food, beverages, kitchen supplies, and other essential items for our restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, excellent negotiation skills, and a solid understanding of inventory and cost control in the food and beverage industry.

Responsibilities:

· Manage the end-to-end purchasing process for food, beverages, equipment, and supplies.

· Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with reliable vendors and suppliers.

· Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure the best value for the restaurant.

· Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with kitchen and operations teams to ensure stock availability.

· Analyze market trends and seasonal demands to forecast purchasing needs.

· Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and vendor performance.

· Ensure all purchased goods meet quality standards and food safety regulations.

· Collaborate with the finance team to track budget and cost efficiency.

· Implement and maintain procurement policies and best practices.

· Address and resolve issues related to delayed or defective deliveries.
