Job Description

Guest Service Representative or Front Desk Associate, is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to guests in various hospitality settings. Their duties include greeting guests, managing check-in and check-out procedures, handling reservations, and addressing guest inquiries and concerns. They also play a key role in maintaining a positive and welcoming environment for guests. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Greeting and Check-in/Check-out: Warmly greeting guests upon arrival, assisting with the registration process, and efficiently managing check-out procedures. 
  • Reservation Management: Handling guest reservations, modifications, and cancellations through various channels (phone, email, online). 
  • Information and Assistance: Providing accurate information about hotel amenities, services, local attractions, and assisting guests with planning activities and making reservations. 
  • Handling Guest Inquiries and Complaints: Addressing guest inquiries, resolving complaints, and escalating issues to the appropriate department when necessary. 
  • Maintaining Front Desk Area: Ensuring the front desk area is clean, organized, and presentable. 
  • Administrative Tasks: Assisting with general administrative duties, such as maintaining guest records and processing payments. 
  • Promoting Services: Upselling services and promoting special offers to guests.
