Passenger Service Agent

A passenger service agent (PSA) works at an airport to provide frontline customer service, ensuring passengers have a smooth and pleasant travel experience from check-in to boarding. Key duties include checking in passengers, managing baggage, issuing boarding passes, and providing flight and airport information. PSAs also assist passengers with special needs, handle flight changes, resolve issues like lost luggage, and work with various airport personnel to maintain efficient operations. The role demands strong communication, problem-solving, multitasking, and adaptability, as the environment is fast-paced and can be demanding.  

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist passengers during check-in, boarding, and departure processes.
• Provide information related to flight schedules, boarding gates, and baggage policies.
• Handle baggage check-in and ticket verification.
• Coordinate with security and ground staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Address passenger concerns and provide exceptional customer service.
• Ensure compliance with all aviation safety and security regulations.
• Assist special category passengers (unaccompanied minors, elderly, VIPs, differently-abled).
• Maintain professional appearance and behavior as per airport standards.
