Job Description
- Feasibility Studies:Conduct feasibility studies to assess the viability and economic feasibility of turbine projects
- Evaluate potential sites for turbine installations and assess environmental impacts
- Materials Selection:Choose appropriate materials for turbine components, considering factors such as strength, heat resistance, and durability
- Collaborate with materials engineers to optimize material selection
- Testing and Prototyping:Oversee the testing and prototyping of turbine components and systems
- Analyze test results to identify areas for improvement and optimization
- Installation and Commissioning:Supervise the installation of turbine systems at client sites
- Ensure proper commissioning and performance testing to meet design specifications
- Maintenance and Repairs:Develop maintenance schedules and procedures for turbine systems
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to address issues, perform repairs, and conduct overhauls
- Performance Monitoring:Implement systems for real-time monitoring of turbine performance
- Analyze data to identify trends, diagnose problems, and optimize operational efficiency
- Regulatory Compliance:Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulatory requirements
- Stay informed about changes in regulations affecting turbine engineering
- Collaboration:Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, and project managers
