Responsibilities

1. Vehicle Inspection & Assessment

Inspect damaged vehicles and identify areas requiring repair.

Provide estimates of repair time and material requirements.

2. Body Repair & Tinkering

Perform dent removal, panel beating, welding, and metal straightening.

Replace damaged parts (doors, fenders, bumpers, etc.) when necessary.

Use modern equipment like spot welders, dent pullers, grinders, and cutting tools.

3. Coordination with Painting & Finishing

Ensure repaired surfaces are properly prepared for painting.

Collaborate with painters for smooth finishing and quality standards.

4. Quality & Safety

Follow OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) guidelines for repairs.

Maintain workshop cleanliness and comply with safety protocols.

Check alignment and fitting of body parts before delivery.

5. Customer & Team Interaction

Support service advisors by explaining the repair process when needed.

Work with other technicians to ensure timely delivery.

6. Record Keeping & Reporting

Update job cards with repair details.

Inform supervisors about additional damage or required parts.
