Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Advocate to join our legal practice. The ideal candidate will represent clients in complex cases across a variety of courts, including the High Court of Bombay, the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal (MACT) in Thane, Kalyan, and Mumbai, as well as the Labour Court. This position requires a high degree of professionalism, ethical integrity, and a commitment to providing the highest level of legal representation.

Location: Office No.1 & 2, Sudhama Savli Complex, Patharli Road, Dombivli (E)

Key Responsibilities:

Representation in Courts: Actively represent clients in legal proceedings at the High Court of Bombay, Motor Accident Claims Tribunals, and Labour Courts, ensuring professional advocacy and optimal outcomes.

Legal Research and Analysis: Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to develop case strategies and prepare for trials.

Document Preparation: Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and appeals, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all legal standards and regulations.

Client Interaction: Maintain regular communication with clients to keep them informed about their case status and provide clear, understandable legal advice.

Case Management: Manage case progression, ensuring all case benchmarks are met efficiently and effectively.

Negotiation: Handle negotiations with opposing parties to reach amicable settlements where appropriate.

Compliance and Ethics: Adhere to all legal standards and controls to ensure compliance in all actions and procedures.

Qualifications:

A Law degree from a recognized university.

Licensed to practice in the jurisdiction of Maharashtra.

Proven experience as an Advocate with a strong track record in handling cases in high courts, tribunals, and labour courts.

Deep understanding of procedural and substantive laws relevant to civil litigation, motor accident claims, and labor disputes.

Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

Skills:

Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, court officials, and other attorneys.

High attention to detail with an ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.

Proficiency in legal research platforms and familiarity with case management software.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment:

This position involves working primarily from our offices in Dombivli, with frequent local travel to courts in Mumbai, Thane, and Kalyan.

Standard office hours apply, but flexibility is required to accommodate court schedules and client needs.
