Job Description:

VNS Industries Private Limited is hiring a Quality Inspector for its steel cold rolling mill operations. The role involves 12-hour night shifts. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in quality inspection within the steel and cold rolling mill industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct online inspection during cold rolling mill operations.

• Check dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and mechanical properties of rolled steel products.

• Maintain QA records, inspection reports, and compliance documentation.

• Perform calibration checks on measuring instruments.

• Use micrometers, vernier calipers, and other precision tools.

• Ensure products meet specified tolerances and standards.

• Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues.

• Support internal and external quality audits.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of micrometer, vernier caliper, and measurement techniques.

• Good understanding of rolling mill operations and quality control processes.

• Ability to prepare and manage QA documentation.

• Teamwork, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Prior experience in the steel industry (rolling mill experience mandatory).
