Branch Manager

JOB TITLE : Branch Manager – Retail Sales

Reports to : State Head – Retail Sales

Department : Sales

Position Grade Range : Manager/ Senior Manager (May vary based on experience)

JOB PURPOSE:
 To manage the branch for all channels and increase Axis MF market share in the given geography

JOB ROLE :
 Primary responsibility is to work closely and build strong relations with all the channel partners to build strategies and implement them at the ground level to achieve revenue and market share targets.
 Build strong relationship in the given geography to ensure execution of strategies rolled out.
 Maximize resource productivity across segments, and ensure maximum market share for Axis Mutual funds scheme for all channel.
 Drive/Initiate & execute training & development on products, soft skills and regulations to the bank employees and other channel partners for them to be more effective at the ground level.
 Conduct regular investor level meets (one on one or at a group level)
 Ensure strong ground/branch level connectivity of the team by way of regular interaction and meets with employees in the geography.
 Regular communication on products, markets and sales tools to all channel partners
 Regular business review with internal (team members) & external channel partners
 Manage and motivate team in Sales and Investor Service and guide them suitably

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
 Post-graduate qualification in Management
 Relevant Experience of 8 to 10 years
 NISM V-A certification is mandatory

OTHER REQUIREMENT:
 Industry Knowledge: should have strong business acumen, with good understanding of financial market data and changing dynamics of Mutual Fund Industry.
 The employee should have demonstrated significant contribution to the business growth in the specific market
 Ability to effectively lead a team to implement plans at the ground level
 The candidate should be diligent and open to extensive local commute
 Should have strong understanding of the products and key business parameters
 Should be able to build local level business strategies
 The employee should have very strong written & verbal communication skills and understand business strategies
