Salary: ₹18,000 – ₹20,000 (in hand), depending on experience

Mysore Institute of Gastroenterology is looking for dedicated and patient-friendly Patient Coordinators to support smooth patient flow and enhance the overall patient experience in our hospital. The role requires strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to coordinate effectively between patients, doctors, and hospital departments.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Assistance & Coordination

• Welcome and guide patients through consultation, diagnostic, and admission processes
• Assist patients with appointment scheduling and follow-ups
• Ensure patients are informed about procedures, tests, and hospital services

Communication & Patient Support

• Act as the primary point of contact for patient queries
• Provide clear information regarding appointments, reports, and hospital processes
• Maintain a polite and professional approach with patients and relatives

Operational Coordination

• Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, diagnostics, and billing departments
• Ensure smooth patient flow in OPD and inpatient services
• Assist in managing patient documentation and records

Administrative Support

• Maintain patient registers and basic data records
• Assist in managing appointments and OPD schedules
• Ensure proper documentation and internal communication between departments
• RequirementsGraduate preferred (any field)
• Good communication skills in English and Kannada
• Basic computer knowledge
• Prior experience in hospital front office / patient coordination preferred
• Skills & QualitiesPatient-centric approach
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organized
• Professional and empathetic attitude
