Job Description
We are looking for a persuasive and empathetic Academic Counselor to join our admissions team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for aspiring students, guiding them through our course offerings and helping them take the first step toward their professional goals.
The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication skills in Malayalam and English (proficiency in Kannada is a significant advantage) and has a knack for converting inquiries into enrollments through professional tele-consultation.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Management: Call prospective students who have expressed interest through social media, website inquiries, or walk-ins.
Academic Consultation: Provide detailed information regarding course curriculum, duration (Diploma vs. Professional Diploma), and career opportunities.
Sales Conversion: Meet daily and weekly enrollment targets by effectively addressing student concerns and highlighting the unique value of our programs.
Relationship Building: Follow up with "warm" leads consistently and maintain a database of potential candidates for future workshops or batches.
Administrative Support: Assist in the registration process and ensure all student documentation is accurately collected.
Skills & Qualifications
Education: Minimum Qualification: Plus Two / Graduation in any stream.
Experience: Previous experience in telesales, telemarketing, or educational counseling is preferred but not mandatory.
Communication: Exceptional verbal communication skills in Malayalam. Ability to converse professionally in English.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong convincing power with a patient and student-centric approach.
Tech Savvy: Basic knowledge of MS Office and social media platforms for lead tracking.
